During the AdI Genoa Plant meeting held on June 4–5, 2025, as part of the INDUX-R Horizon Europe project, activities centered on the application of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies in industrial settings.
The agenda featured a tour of the HDG line, data collection to support AR and VR scenario development, evaluation of AR localization techniques and sensor performance, and collaborative discussions on pilot implementation scenarios. Furthermore, a cognitive walkthrough was conducted to assess the usability of AR functionalities. VR-based training procedures were demonstrated, outstanding issues were reviewed, and a set of follow-up actions was defined to guide future work.
INDUX-R envisions a human-centric XR ecosystem that will transform European industrial sectors by empowering humans and creating innovative XR products and services of significant added value
