ShinyNeRF: Digitizing Anisotropic Appearance in Neural Radiance Fields is presented at the 11th International ISPRS / CIPA Workshop, within the framework of the INDUX-R project.
The work introduces ShinyNeRF, a novel NeRF-based approach for highfidelity 3D digitization of cultural heritage objects, addressing the challenge of anisotropic specular surfaces (e.g. brushed metals). By accurately modeling surface normals, tangents, and anisotropic reflections, the method achieves state-of-the-art realism and enables meaningful material editing. read more: https://multimedia-eurecat.github.io/ShinyNeRF/
